Subscribers to Games with Gold will now be able to play new titles on the Xbox One and Xbox 360. Whilst this is good news for people wanting to get their hand on some different games, it also means that some of the games currently available will no long be there for download.
The program that is used is called Backwards Compatibility, a tool that allows older games to be played on new consoles. Users can still download games and add them to their Backwards Compatibility library but they will have a limited amount of time to do so.
Some of the new titles that will be made available are:
- Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris
- LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga
- Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams
Some will be available for one month only whereas others are available for longer. Games that are being replaced include The Walking Dead and Star Was: The Force Unleashed 2.
